Molasses Taffy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. molasses
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation

Place all ingredients in boiler and boil to 260\u00b0 or until a small amount of mixture dropped in cold water becomes brittle. Pour into a buttered pan.
When cool enough to handle, pull until a light color and mixture hardens.
Cut with kitchen shears into bite size pieces.
