Wilma'S Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. quick oats
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. each: cinnamon and soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Pour water over oats.
Cool.
Cream shortening, sugars and eggs.
To this add dry ingredients.
Mix thoroughly with water/oats mixture.
Bake in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch greased pan for 25 minutes in a 350\u00b0 preheated oven.
