Havremakroner(Oatmeal Macaroons) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. melted butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
4 Tbsp. cream
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 c. oatmeal (dry)
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add beaten egg, cream and extract. Mix well.
(I use hand electric mixer and whip the first five ingredients until like whipped butter.)
Mix flour and baking powder together and add to the butter mixture.
Add oatmeal and mix well.
Let batter rest 30 minutes.
Place by rounded teaspoonful on a greased baking sheet.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
