Raspberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. raspberries, crushed
    6 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. Epsom salts
Preparation
    Mash berries.
    Mix with sugar and bring to boil over moderate heat.
    Boil 5 minutes.
    Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Shut off heat and add Epsom salts.
    Remove from heat; stir about 3 minutes.
    Pour into sterilized jars and seal with melted wax.
