Angel Food Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 loaves angel food cake
1 can cherry pie filling
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 c. whipped cream
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. almond or vanilla extract
Preparation

Slice loaves lengthwise into layers.
Make filling of cheese, cream, sugar and extract.
Spread on bottom layers.
Top with pie filling, then remaining cake layers, next another layer of filling and then the balance of pie filling. Chill.
Ice sides of cakes with Cool Whip.
Do not ice tops.
Makes 2 loaf cakes.
