Cream Cheese All Butter Pound Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. (3 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, at room temperature
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
confectioners sugar (for sprinkling on top)
3 c. flour (plain)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan or 12 cup Bundt pan.
Beat butter and cream cheese until well blended; add sugar to cream until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Blend in vanilla. Sift together flour and salt.
Blend into creamed mixture.
Spoon batter into prepared pan.
Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan 5 minutes; turn out onto wire rack and cool completely.
Dust with confectioners sugar, if desired.
