Gumdrop Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 lb. nuts
1 c. applesauce
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 lb. raisins, boiled for 5 minutes
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 lb. gumdrops
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs.
Beat well. Add applesauce.
Blend flour, soda, salt and spices, then blend in raisins, nuts and gumdrops.
Add flour mixture to creamed mixture, blending thoroughly.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
