Vegetable Canapes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    3 Tbsp. sour cream
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    1/2 tsp. dried whole dill weed
    3 Tbsp. frozen minced chives, thawed
    8 slices very thin white bread
    8 slices very thin whole wheat bread
    thinly sliced cucumber, squash or radishes
    shredded carrot
    sliced cherry tomatoes
    fresh watercress or dill weed sprigs
Preparation
    Beat the cream cheese until fluffy. Stir in next 5 ingredients.
    Set aside. Cut two 1 3/4-inch rounds from each bread slice.
    Keep bread covered with damp towels while assembling. Spread each bread round with 1 teaspoon cream cheese mixture. Top with assorted vegetables and watercress as desired.
    Yields 32 canapes.
