Chicken Noodle Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cut up chicken
    14 c. water
    1 medium, chopped onion
    2 bay leaves
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. sliced carrot
    1 c. sliced celery
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 tsp. basil leaves
    1 tsp. parsley
    1/2 (1 lb.) pkg. egg noodles
Preparation
    Combine chicken, onion, bay leaves, salt and pepper; boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, until chicken is tender, for 1 hour. Remove chicken; cool, debone and cut into pieces.
    Add remaining ingredients; simmer 25 minutes.
