Microwave Poppycock(It'S Oh, So Good!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 C butter
    1/2 C light Karo syrup
    1-1/4 C granulated sugar
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 qts popped popcorn
    1 1/2 C nuts
Preparation
    In 2 qt microwave safe bowl, cook butter, syrup and granulated sugar on high for about 14 minutes or to the hard ball stage.
    Syrup will have a butterscotch color when ready.
    Stir in vanilla.
