Hot Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    2 carrots
    1 onion
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. mustard
    1 Tbsp. red pepper or to taste
Preparation
    Grate cabbage, carrots and onion.
    Bring to boil sugar and vinegar; set aside to cool.
    Mix mayonnaise, mustard and red pepper.
    Add vinegar to cabbage and mix well.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Chill.
    This will keep several weeks in the refrigerator.
