Pie Corn Meal Apple Cake With Raisins - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. golden raisins
1 c. sugar
4 apples, peeled and sliced
1/4 lb. butter
cinnamon and sugar to taste
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1 c. corn meal

Preparation

Cream butter with sugar in large bowl.
Beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla.
Sift flour, corn meal, salt and baking powder together.
Alternate dry ingredients with liquid.
Stir in raisins.
Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Put sliced apples on top (in rows).
Sprinkle with mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
