Thumbprint Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 egg white
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Dough will be stiff at first.
    Roll in 1-inch balls.
    Roll in slightly beaten egg white and finely chopped nuts.
    Bake for 5 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Remove and quickly press thumb in center.
    Bake 8 more minutes.
    Remove and fill center with jelly or cherry half.
