Pecan Ozarks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place sugar and egg whites on slow fire and beat until warm. Remove from fire and continue beating until mixture stands firm; fold in nuts.
    Drop on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 325\u00b0 for 12 minutes or until firm.
