Mississippi Mud Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. cocoa
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped
    miniature marshmallows
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and Crisco.
    Add egg, one at a time, to sugar mixture.
    Sift together the flour, salt and cocoa.
    Add to cream mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Add pecans or walnuts.
    Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and make 12 rows of marshmallows on it.
    Return to oven for 10 minutes.
    Remove from oven and cool.
    Then top with frosting.
