Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. soft butter or margarine
    1 lb. 1 oz. can fruit cocktail (undrained)
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 c. chopped chips
    3/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Mix together all ingredients (except chips and nuts) at lowest speed.
    Then beat at medium speed 2 minutes.
    Pour into pan; sprinkle on toppings of chips and nuts and bake 35 to 40 minutes.
