Fried Potato Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. mashed potatoes
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg
    1/4 c. milk
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 c. oil
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, flour, egg, milk and onion in bowl; mix well.
    Drop by spoonfuls into hot oil in skillet.
    Brown on both sides, pressing with spatula to flatten.
    Yields 12 cakes.
