Family Favorite Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Baked pie shell
    1/2 c. cocoa
    7 Tbsp. flour
    1-1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3 egg yolks
    2 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    Meringue or Whipped Cream
Preparation
    Mix cocoa, flour, sugar and salt. Gradually add egg yolks and milk. Cook and stir constantly over medium heat until thickened. Filling will be slightly lumpy. Add vanilla and butter and beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Cool until lukewarm and pour into a baked pie shell. If you choose, you may top with meringue and bake until brown, or you may chill the pie and top with whipped cream.
