Pot Pie Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. soft shortening
    1 egg
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and baking powder well and work in shortening. Add egg and water to make a stiff dough.
    Roll out 1/8-inch thick; cut in 2-inch squares and drop in boiling broth carefully so they don't stick.
    Cook 25 to 30 minutes.
