Sweet Potato Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium sweet potatoes (peeled and cut in chunks)
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Salt to taste
3/4 cup crushed corn flakes
1/4 cup raisins
1 tablespoon chopped walnuts (optional or more if desired)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 stick butter
Preparation

Peel and chunk sweet potatoes. Cook until tender (add salt to water when cooking). While potatoes are cooking mix together corn flakes, raisins, nuts, brown sugar and butter. Set aside. Mash the potatoes; add sugar, milk, eggs cinnamon, nutmeg and beat well. Spoon into a greased casserole dish. Top with corn flake mixture. Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
