Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium Vidalia onions, sliced
    12 saltine crackers, crushed
    1 stick margarine
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Add onions; cook until tender.
    Butter casserole dish and line with crushed crackers.
    Add onions and soup in layers.
    Beat eggs; add milk, salt and pepper.
    Pour over casserole.
    Sprinkle crackers and cheese over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown and bubbly.
