Big Boy Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. fresh strawberries
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. water
    1 small pkg. strawberry jello
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Wash and stem the berries; set aside.
    Combine the sugar and 1 cup water.
    Stir in the paste made with the cornstarch and 1/2 cup water.
    Boil gently until thick and clear, about 5 minutes.
    Stir in jello.
    Cool a little.
    Fold in the berries and pour into the baked pie shell.
