Chocolate Truffle And Caramel Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. chocolate wafer cookie crumbs (about 32)
    3/4 c. finely chopped pecans
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 envelope gelatin
    1/4 c. cold water
    2 c. whipping cream, divided
    1 pkg. (350 g.) semi-sweet chocolate chips (2 c.)
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    44 caramels
    4 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Combine crumbs, pecans and melted butter.
    Press into bottom and up sides of 10-inch pie plate.
    Cook in microwave on High for 1 minute.
    Set aside to cool.
