Cool Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots, sliced thin
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 jar (small) sweet onions
    1/2 c. oil
    1 can undiluted tomato soup
    1 bell pepper, diced
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook carrots in water with salt until tender.
    Drain.
    Mix all other ingredients together in medium saucepan.
    Bring to a boil. Pour mixture over carrots.
    Let stand 45 minutes.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Lasts \"indefinitely.\"
