Grandma'S Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick oats
    1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    about 5 c. flour
Preparation
    Pour 2 cups boiling water over first 5 ingredients and stir. Cool until lukewarm.
    Dissolve 1 tablespoon dry yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
    Add to batter:
    add flour until thick enough (about 5 cups).
    Place in greased bowl.
    Cover with towel.
    Let rise until double in bulk.
    Punch down and let rise again in loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 30 minutes.
