Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pastry for single crust 9-inch pie
    12 slices bacon, crisply fried and crumbled
    4 oz. shredded natural Swiss cheese
    1 c. minced onion
    4 eggs
    2 c. whipping cream
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. cayenne red pepper
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Prepare the pastry.
    Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in the pastry lined pie pan.
    Beat eggs lightly and blend in cream, salt, sugar and pepper.
    Pour mixture into pie pan.
    Bake 15 minutes at 425\u00b0 then reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes later.
    Let pie stand 10 minutes before cutting.
