Chocolate Covered Cherry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    2 large eggs
    1 tsp. pure almond extract
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Lightly spray 9 x 13 pan with vegetable oil spray.
    Place all ingredients in large mixing bowl and beat with electric mixer on low for 1 minute.
    Scrape bowl and mix on medium for 2 minutes.
    The batter will look thick and well blended.
    Pour into pan, smoothing top.
    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool.
    Serve with chocolate glaze.
