Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 slices sandwich bread
6 eggs, beaten
2 1/2 c. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
dash of dry mustard
dash of seasoned salt
3/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
parsley, chopped (as garnish)
Preparation

Trim crusts from bread and cut into cubes.
Beat eggs and milk; add seasonings.
Lightly butter a 2-quart casserole.
Line bottom with 1/2 of the bread cubes and sprinkle with 1/3 of the cheese.
Repeat cheese and bread layers, then pour milk and egg mixture over all.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes. Remove from oven. Top with remaining cheese and sprinkle with parsley.
Return to oven and bake 10 minutes more. Serves 8.
