Sweet Hot Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (48 oz.) jar hamburger dills (crinkle cut)
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 oz. Tabasco (1/8 c. equals 1 oz.)
    3 cloves garlic, sliced very thin
Preparation
    Drain pickles; discard juice.
    Place all ingredients in a large crock or Pyrex bowl.
    Stir until sugar dissolves.
    Let sit 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Return to jar.
    Turn jar upside down every day for 5 days.
    Good for gift giving.
