Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. white corn syrup
    3 eggs
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Add butter, slightly softened, to brown sugar and cream it. Then add syrup and eggs, beaten.
    Add salt and vanilla.
    When all is mixed, add pecans and pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake 10 minutes at 450\u00b0; then reduce heat to 325\u00b0 until filling is firm, about 30 minutes.
