Chocolate Syrup Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. margarine, softened
    1/4 c. Crisco
    1 (5 oz.) can chocolate syrup
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
    5 eggs, separated
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Grease a tube pan.
    Beat separated egg whites until stiff; set aside.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    In a mixing bowl, blend together sugar, margarine and Crisco; beat until creamy.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating after each.
    Add chocolate syrup.
    Alternately add milk and flour mixture to creamy mixture.
    Add beaten egg whites.
    Add flavoring last; beat well.
    Pour into greased tube pan.
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
    Let cool; remove from the pan.
