Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (real thing!)
    4 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugar and continue to beat until light.
    Add vanilla and sifted flour.
    Mix well and fold in chopped nuts. Shape into small balls on an ungreased baking sheet and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 15 to 18 minutes, until light, light brown.
    Roll in confectioners sugar.
    Makes 3 dozen cookies.
