Corn Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. chopped onions
    2 qt. ripe tomatoes, peeled and cut up
    14 ears corn, cut from cob
    1 sweet (red or green) pepper, cut fine
    8 small cukes, sliced thin
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. turmeric
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 c. sugar
    1 pt. 5% acid vinegar
Preparation
    Put everything in a large pot.
    Cook slowly until tender. Wash and scald 9 pint jars and lids.
    When vegetables are tender, put in jars and seal while hot.
    Makes 9 pints.
