Creamy Baked Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. milk
5 eggs
6 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat eggs slightly.
Add sugar and salt.
Mix well.
Add scalded milk gradually, stirring constantly.
Flavor with vanilla and nutmeg.
Pour into a greased baking dish.
Place in a shallow pan of warm water.
Bake in moderate oven at 300\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
A knife inserted will come out clean when custard is done.
