Angel Turds(Christmas Holiday Cookie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. regular flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. butter
2/3 c. confectioner sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract

Preparation

Sift together flour and salt.
Cream thoroughly shortening, butter, confectioners sugar, vanilla and almond extract.
Add dry ingredients.
Stir to blend.
Add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.
Shape into small balls (1 teaspoon for each cookie).
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten with fork if desired or leave in balls.
