Southern Fried Chicken(With Cream Gravy) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. water
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 broiler-fryer (3 to 4 lb.), cut up
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. bacon drippings
Preparation
    Combine water and 1 tablespoon salt in a large bowl; add chicken. Cover and chill 8 hours.
    Drain chicken; rinse with cold water and pat dry.
