Mary'S Easy Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 lb. frozen peas and carrots or other mixed vegetables
    2 lb. seasoned mashed potatoes
    2 pkg. brown gravy mix
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    In skillet, brown meat just until done. Drain off fat.
    Place meat in large casserole dish.
    Layer frozen vegetables over meat. Mix water with gravy mix; pour evenly over meat and vegetable layers.
    Spread mashed potatoes over other layers. Dot with margarine, if desired.
    Cover and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
    Remove cover and bake an additional 15 minutes or until potatoes are slightly browned. Excellent one dish meal.
