Mom'S Butterscotch Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. light syrup
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 can (6) biscuits
Preparation
    In saucepan, cook brown sugar, light syrup, water, butter and vanilla until bubbly.
    Drop 6 biscuits into sauce and simmer 10 minutes uncovered.
    Cover and simmer 10 minutes more.
    (Can cut biscuits before dropping them into boiling sauce.)
    Serve warm in dessert dishes.
    Spoon sauce over top.
    Serves 6.
