Blueberry Slump - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. blueberries
1 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
2 Tbsp. buttermilk
Preparation

Mix blueberries, water and 1/2 cup sugar.
Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
Combine flour, 1/4 cup sugar, soda and salt.
Cut butter into flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in buttermilk just until flour is moistened.
Drop batter by tablespoons atop bubbling blueberry mixture, making 6 dumplings.
Cover pan tightly; simmer 15 minutes (don't lift lid).
