Southern Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk or enough to make dough stiff enough to roll
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients.
Add butter and mix well.
Add milk slowly and mix well.
Roll on floured board to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut with small biscuit cutter or in strips.
Drop into boiling chicken or beef broth.
