Apple Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3 eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
3 1/2 c. peeled tart apples, cut into large pieces (I use Cortland apples)
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
2 tsp. vanilla

Note:
To keep apples from browning, place them in a large bowl of slightly salted water.
Drain, although this minimal liquid will not affect flavor or texture.
