Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck cucumbers
    1 c. salt
    2 qt. vinegar
    1 qt. water
Preparation
    Wash cucumbers and put in enamel container.
    Add 1 cup of salt and cover with boiling water.
    When vinegar and water come to a boiling point, pack in jars.
    Add 1 tablespoon of salt to each quart jar.
    Cover with hot mixture and seal.
