Yams On The Half Shell - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large yams
2 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. orange marmalade, divided
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
Preparation

Bake yams at 375\u00b0 for about 45 minutes.
Slice off top 1/3 and scoop out.
Add all other ingredients except 1/2 marmalade.
Whip with beater; replace in shells.
Bake 15 minutes and drizzle with remaining marmalade during last 5 minutes.
(Can be done ahead and frozen, but better to refrigerate, set out at room temperature a while before baking last 15 minutes.)
