Cream Of Fresh Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    desired vegetables and seasonings (see following)
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    few dashes pepper (preferably white pepper)
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine chicken broth, onion, one of the vegetable and seasoning combos following.
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for the time indicated or until vegetables are tender (remove bay leaf if using broccoli).
    Place 1/2 of vegetables in blender, cover and blend 30 to 60 seconds, until smooth.
    Pour into bowl.
    Repeat with remaining mixture and set all aside.
