Cornish Hens With Chestnut-Sausage Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. Wish-Bone Italian dressing
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 lb. sweet Italian sausage links with casing removed
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 celery stalks, chopped
    4 Cornish hens
    1/2 c. pine nuts, toasted
    1/2 tsp. marjoram
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    2 c. fresh bread crumbs
    1 c. cooked chestnuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a large skillet, cook onion and celery in Italian dressing, stirring until tender.
    Add sausage and cook 5 minutes or until browned.
    Stir in bread crumbs, chestnuts, pine nuts and herbs.
    Stuff hens with mixture.
    Close cavities with skewers and tie legs together with string.
    Place in roast pan on racks.
    Cover loosely with aluminum foil and roast 1 hour.
    Remove foil and continue roasting 15 minutes, approximately until done.
