Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. unpopped popcorn
    1 stick melted oleo
    1 c. light brown sugar, packed
    1/4 c. light white Karo syrup
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Pop the popcorn (do not add salt).
    Put in a large casserole dish that has buttered bottom and sides.
    In a small heavy saucepan, add oleo, brown sugar and Karo.
    Boil 3 minutes.
    Add soda (this causes syrup mixture to foam).
    Pour over popcorn. Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Pour out on wax paper.
    To keep fresh, seal in a container.
    Tastes like Cracker Jacks.
