Spanish Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

10 c. of cooked rice
1 lb. of bacon, chopped
1 lb. of hamburger
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 cans tomato sauce
1 tsp. of chili powder
1 lb. of grated cheddar cheese
salt and pepper
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In 2 frying pans cook bacon and ground beef separately.
When the hamburger is cooked put in the onion. When the bacon is done cooking put in the green pepper.
Put it on low heat.
Put the cooked rice in a large mixing bowl, mix the hamburger, bacon, onion and green pepper.
Mix in the tomato sauce, chili powder, salt and pepper.
Mix thoroughly and put in a 13 x 9 inch casserole pan.
Make sure to spray cooking spray in casserole pan.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Cover with foil.
Bake 45 to 55 minutes until cheese is golden brown.
