Potato Slices Baked With Onion Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
    1/4 c. onion soup mix (1/2 pkg.)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. water
    4 to 5 medium sized baking potatoes
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine
    butter,
    onion soup mix and salt.
    Pour water into
    a
    2
    quart casserole dish.
    Scrub potatoes and cut into
    1/4-inch slices (do not peel).
    Arrange a layer of slices in
    casserole;
    spread
    with a tablespoon of onion mixture.
    Repeat, making
    5
    layers.
    Cover
    and bake 45 minutes to an hour or until potatoes fork-tender.
