No-Cook Chow-Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. red peppers
    1 pt. onions
    5 pods hot peppers
    1 qt. cabbage
    5 Tbsp. salt
    4 c. sugar
    1 qt. vinegar
Preparation
    Chop first 4 ingredients fine; measure after chopping.
    Mix salt, sugar and vinegar.
    Pour over chopped vegetables.
    Let stand 6 hours.
    Pour into small jars.
    Do not deep seal.
