Seafood Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 lb. okra, sliced
    1 qt. tomatoes
    1 bell pepper, diced
    6 c. hot water
    1 lb. cleaned shrimp
    1 qt. oysters
    1 lb. crab meat
    5 bay leaves
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    3 to 4 green onions, chopped
    Creole seasoning to taste
    cooked rice
    2 to 3 cloves garlic
Preparation
    Brown butter and flour. Add onion, celery and pepper.
    Saute until light brown. Add okra and cook until okra is not ropey. Stir often.
    Add tomatoes, hot water, bay leaves, garlic and crab meat, in that order. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add shrimp, oysters, green onions and parsley.
    Season to taste. Simmer 1 hour and serve over rice.
